About

Since the mid 1980’s Gloucestershire Philosophical Society have held meetings on a variety of topics. We aim to provide a forum for debate on issues of current interest alongside informative lectures from specialists in many areas of philosophical, political, social, scientific and artistic thought. Our meetings are open to both the academic and wider community. We warmly welcome new members, so why not come along and offer your opinions. The society is funded by the Royal Institute of Philosophy and is supported by the university of Gloucestershire and staff and students of the RPE course.

  1. It’s now late October and your website only features the summer term programme! Are there any plans for meetings this term? if so, it would help for it to be posted in advance

  2. I am writing because I am interested in participating in your meetings.
I could see some information on your website, but I don’t know if it’s still valid

Could you inform me about the different events it organizes and where and when it will take place?
