The Gloucestershire Free School of Philosophy is a branch of the Gloucestershire Philosophical Society, which meets on a fortnightly basis to discuss various philosophical and ethical issues. It is run by students of the University of Gloucestershire, but is open to all students and members of the public and wants to actively encourage an exchange of intellectual ideas between all members of the community.

The topic of each discussion is chosen at the previous meeting by the participants, so if there is an issue or subject you would like to discuss all you need to do is attend one if the meetings and suggest your topic at the end.

Previous Meetings

First Meeting

The first meeting of the GFSP was held on the 1st October 2015 at the Frog and Fiddle in Cheltenham at 17:30.

Second Meeting

The second meeting was on the 22nd October 2015 at Yates, Cheltenham at 17:30.

Third Meeting

The third meeting was on the 10th November at the Bank House Cheltenham – JD Wetherspoon at 17:30

(we Ended up talking about other things so we moved the topic to the meeting of the 24th November)

Fourth Meeting
